Effective date: 1 March 2026

At The Linen Club, we believe good service includes being careful with your information, not just your laundry.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it in plain English on purpose.

By using our website, placing an order, joining a membership, or contacting us, you agree to this policy.

  • notes about preferences relevant to your service, such as folding, packing, or care preferences
  • website and device information, such as cookies, browser type, and pages visited

We do not intentionally collect more information than we need.

3. How we collect it

We usually collect personal information directly from you when you:

We use your information to run The Linen Club properly and thoughtfully.

That includes:

  • setting up and managing your account

5. Marketing

From time to time, we may send you news, offers, service updates, or helpful reminders about The Linen Club.

We will not be pushy about it.

You can opt out of marketing emails, SMSs, or WhatsApps at any time by:

  • clicking unsubscribe where available
  • replying STOP where that option is offered
  • contacting us directly and asking to be removed

Service messages about active orders, collections, deliveries, payments, plan renewals, or important account matters are not the same as marketing.

6. Payments

We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Those providers process payment information under their own privacy and security terms.

7. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share it only where reasonably necessary with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as:

  • payment providers

  • software tools for bookings, messaging, customer support, or operations
  • accountants, auditors, or professional advisers
  • specialist cleaning or concierge partners, where a service requires that handoff
  • authorities or regulators, where we are legally required to do so

Where another service provider handles information on our behalf, we expect them to protect it properly and use it only for the agreed purpose.

8. Cookies and website tools

Like most websites, our site may use cookies and similar tools to help it function properly and to help us understand how people use it.

These tools may help with things like:

  • keeping the site working smoothly

  • measuring marketing results

You can usually manage cookies in your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

That may include keeping records for:

  • accounting and tax

When we no longer need information, we will delete it, de-identify it, or securely destroy it where reasonably practical.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.

No system is perfect, but we do take care.

Our safeguards may include:

  • secure platforms and passwords
  • limited access to customer information

11. If something goes wrong with data security

If we discover a security breach affecting your personal information, we will investigate it, take steps to contain it, and notify affected people and the Information Regulator where the law requires us to do so.

12. Your rights

You have rights in relation to your personal information, subject to applicable law.

These include the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal information about you

14. Third-party links and services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for how they operate.

Where you use a third-party payment tool, app, plugin, or linked service, their own privacy terms may also apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect service changes, legal updates, or improvements to how we work.

The latest version on our website will apply from the date it is posted.
